Safety Manager - Pharma Construction

OverviewPM Group are looking for a Safety Manager to work on a Pharma Labs and Offices retro fit project. The role will be based near Schaffhausen in Switzerland.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and implement comprehensive safety programs for pharma laboratory and office retrofit construction activitiesEnsure adherence to safety standards, pharma industry safety requirements, and client-specific safety protocolsConduct detailed safety assessments including contamination control and chemical exposure risksInvestigate safety incidents, near-misses, and regulatory violations; implement corrective actions and preventive measuresPerform regular safety inspections, document findings, and ensure compliance with safety plans and regulatory requirementsMaintain comprehensive safety records, incident reports, training documentation, and regulatory compliance filesQualificationsBachelor's degree/Diploma in Safety, Construction, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 8-10 years safety management experience with 3+ years in pharma, chemical, or regulated industry constructionThorough understanding of relevant standards, pharmaceutical safety protocols, and construction safety in operational facilitiesProven experience developing and implementing safety programs for complex construction projectsCandidates must have : Right to work in Europe English Language Skills - German highly desireableWhy PM Group?As an employee-owned company, we are inclusive, committed and driven.
