Join Our TeamSafety ManageriBUILT is searching for an experienced Safety Manager to join our team in Berwick. As a safety manager you must have excellent attention to detail to identify hazards. You will also be responsible for discovery of opportunities for improving conditions and execute various safety programs. The ability to communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential. You will also be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace. The goal is to ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports occupational health and safety.Essential Job FunctionsDevelop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelinesPrepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safetyConduct risk assessments.Train all employees in your health and safety procedures.Conduct frequent safety inspections and checks.Understand the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the policyDevelop a correct procedure for reporting accidents.Respond to any safety complaints and concerns raised by employees.Take responsibility for first aid proceduresManage emergency procedures.Please note: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.CORE COMPETENCIESDeep understanding of legal health and safety guidelinesAbility in producing reports and developing relevant policiesGood knowledge of data analysis and risk assessmentExcellent organizational and motivational skillsOutstanding attention to detail and observation abilityExceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.iBUILT has a mission to re-think construction by introducing new building technologies, materials, construction processes and design.
