The role focuses on driving continuous improvement through data analysis, inspections, and testing, while promoting a strong safety and quality culture through training and best practices. Supporting the SQE Manager, this position contributes to a safe, sustainable work environment and high-quality standards..What will you be doing?Safety & EnvironmentSupport the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of KONE’s Safety Management System, ensuring worker, user, and third-party safety.Implement environmental policies to minimize operational impact on the environment.Actively participate in safety committees and forums, contributing to safety initiatives.Provide expert advice and guidance on safety-related matters to the unit.Plan and execute projects and activities aimed at improving safety performance.Collaborate closely with customers, partners, and subcontractors to uphold safety standards.Monitor and enhance safety risk management processes, tools, and practices.Support safety-related change management initiatives.Collect, validate, and report leading and lagging safety indicators.Stay updated on legal and business developments in safety; propose necessary actions.Conduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance and identify risks or deviations.Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and manage corrective and preventive actions.Facilitate safety training and competency development within the unit.Communicate safety information proactively, including investigation results and best practices.QualitySupport the implementation of the KONE Management System within the unit.Monitor and measure performance against established safety, quality, and environmental metrics.Drive quality improvements through data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.Coordinate preventive and corrective actions within quality improvement teams.Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards.Share knowledge and train the organization on quality methodologies, tools, and procedures.Are you the one?Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or data science or equivalent experience in relevant fieldExperiences:Minimum five (05) years of experience in SQE expertise within industrial or construction industries.Hands-on experience with management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and compliance audits.Proven track record in incident investigation and risk assessment.Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement.Project management experience in safety and quality-related initiatives.Skills:Strong knowledge of local safety, environmental, and quality regulations.Proficiency in quality tools, methods, and systems, including root cause analysis.Competent in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access); scripting and data management experience is an asset.Ability to analyze data and accurately report performance metrics.Excellent problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset.Effective communication and training capabilities.Fluent in English (written and spoken).At KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
