And our way of working smarter.As Safety & Security Manager you are responsible for supporting & managing the Group Prevention & Protection Lead in developing, implementing and controlling the Group Safety, Health and Physical security programs by promoting and safeguarding the physical security , safety and wellbeing of the Proximus Group’s workforce and assets. By managing risks in a proactive and reactive way he ensures a safe – healthy – secure work environment and stimulates Wellbeing of the employees.ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the GPP team, you participate actively in the development and achievement of the objectives and strategy.You assist in the development and the dynamic management of Safety&Health and the wellbeing of the employees.You are responsible for the application of the statutory duties imposed on the prevention advisor Safety&Health (for dedicated entities/affiliates)You analyse, do research and define action plans for Safety&Health ; Wellbeing and Physical security in consultation with the different internal and external actors.You assist in defining the Physical Security strategy, works out policies and standards, operational management of the security systems, processes and procedures.You maintain and strives to permanently improvement of relationships with national and local authorities. You consults with the parties in order to ensure successful realisations so the Safety&Health and Physical Security objectives and strategy can be realized.As a trusted advisor, you can act as delegate of the GPP Department Lead and you are able to articulate a mid and long term vision for the department as well as to defend it towards all main stakeholders throughout the entire company (incl. top senior management leads as unions representatives)Your profileYou are in the possession of the certificate of Prevention advisor (General level 1) or are willing to get this degree (taking into account the specific legal admission rules : basic education master or academic bachelor).You have at least 10 years of related business experience.You are fluent trilingual Dutch, French and EnglishYou have a strong integrity and are trustworthy in order to treat sensitive and sometimes complex filesYou are a motivator with a high persuasiveness and your reporting skills have to be highly presentYou have to be stress resistant and multi-task orientedYou are a strong communicator with interpersonal and social skills: you have the knowledge to convince, inspire and motivate as well top senior management as employees and employees’ representatives in order to make them aware of their responsibilitiesYou demonstrate strong assertively in each GPP domain and you dare speak-out loud without being rigid.You have the ability to build strong effective team around you, even in a virtual wayDue to access to classified information and infrastructure you will be screened by the Belgian Authorities.
