Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Marketing Services (EBD) team in the capacity of: Employee Benefits Sales Advisor (Contract)Sell and market the Company’s Employee Benefits products to new and existing clients and maintain at least 95% conservation of the portfolio. Location: Mandeville, ManchesterAs An Employee Benefits Sales Advisor, You Will Promote the sale of Employee Benefits products. Negotiate contract renewals.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships by establishing credibility and providing value-added service. Provide periodic Claims Utilization analyses and recommend appropriate action to ensure viability. Conduct claims utilization educational sessions. Assist in the collection of outstanding premiums. Assist in strategic planning for the department by providing marketing intelligence on the Company’s competitors. Assist the department head in identifying and making preliminary reports on perceived cases of fraud. Prepare monthly productivity reports for submission to the Director of Sales. Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need? Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field from a recognized tertiary institution. Two (2) years’ working experience in Sales, one (1) year of which must be in the insurance industry. Excellent time-management, human relations and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Knowledge of the Group Insurance business. Ability to work on own initiative given appropriate guidelines and objectives. Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheets and word processing applications. Ability to negotiate with clients and Underwriting regarding rates and benefits. Ownership of a reliable motor car.
