Mortgage Officer

As a Mortgage Officer, you’ll be the trusted guide helping individuals and families turn their dream of homeownership into reality. ResponsibilitiesIf you are successful, you will provide strong support to the Manager, Mortgages – Eastern Caribbean & Belize in maintaining and growing the residential mortgage portfolio through administering an assigned portfolio, analysing new business and completing mortgage loan processing. You will also:

Identify, solicit and acquire new or increased mortgage business from existing accounts and new prospects, in line with company policy and planned objectives. Assess, prepare and submit mortgage loan assessments to relevant approval authorities. Exercise due diligence in the mortgage loan assessment process via thorough and strong lending administration with focus on quality and security regularization. Exercise strong portfolio management to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Administer a portfolio of mortgage accounts as assigned ensuring a client relationship is established and maintained. Refer new business to group companies for life and investment products.

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent and at least two (2) years’ experience in a banking environment. Previous experience in lending and/or credit assessment would be an asset. Knowledge of AML guidelines. Strong written and oral, communication skills, along with excellent organisational and administrative skills,Very good interpersonal skills.  Demonstrated analytical skills. A high proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software. Previous experience within a financial services environment would be an asset. Job applications close August 25, 2025
