Purpose of the position: Ensure that all onshore project activities comply with contractual quality requirements, international standards, and company procedures. The Quality Engineer will support continuous quality improvement, coordinate inspections, and ensure full documentation and traceability throughout project execution and will report to Quality Manager / Project Quality Lead. How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and controls. Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality standards are met.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for non-conformities. Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of materials, components, and final products. Maintain and improve quality documentation including inspection plans, control plans, and process flow charts. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and improve product performance. Support internal and external audits (e. g. , ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, etc. ). Collect and analyze quality data (e. g. , scrap rates, defect trends) to identify opportunities for improvement. Use quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone Diagrams.
Participate in new product development and process validation to ensure quality is built into design and production. What are we looking for?Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field). Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a quality engineering or assurance role. Languages: Portuguese and Professional English Technical Skills: Exposure in Quality assurance, inspection, welding & NDT activities and those standard like ASME SEC IX,II, V, ASME B31. 3 & AWS and D1. 1 also material inspection & Familiar to use Data base SANDS, REFLEX and Quality aspects of Self verification & CONQCertification: CQE (Certified Quality Engineer)IT Skills:
