Job Description

We are a reputational manufacturer and distributor of motorsports safety equipment and apparels looking to fill a full time B2B and retail marketing and sales position. We are more seeking a seasoned professional with excellent marketing, sales and communication skills. Fluent verbal and written English is a must. This is primarily a sales and marketing position that requires candidates to be self-starting and able to meet sales goals without direct supervision, although some travel may be needed.The ideal candidate will lead the account development and penetration strategy for assigned customers or regional markets. They should be skilled at building and maintaining relationships with clients and work to provide exceptional customer service to clients. They must have strong management skills, be self-motivated and willing to learn the product as quickly as possible. Seeking all opportunities to increase sales whether through new customers or improved relations with existing partners is key to success.ResponsibilitiesBecome familiar with all product lines and technical requirements of various auto racing series and sanctioning bodies to provide appropriate support to customersAct as account sales support for a variety of customers across the US and potentially international marketsWorking with management to create realistic marketing and sales goals for assigned accountsIncreasing sales with current customers via online and media sales promotions, tailored deals, or any other appropriate means.Maintain an awareness of the motorsports industry and any opportunities for sales growth and new customersProvide technical support to both business and retail customersOccasional travel as needed to support customers and provide support at events, conventions, and racesWork with ERP and office software to create and enter sales orders, maintain customer data, and create sales reportsQualifications5+ years experience in sales and/or marketing of technical products, especially auto racing and safety products5+ years experience generating new business and maintaining relationships2+ years Good experience through online and social media marketingStrong computer skills including Excel Macros and ERP system experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf motivated and able to stay on taskMust have a natural ability to talk to current and prospective customersExperience in motorsports or with sporting goods a definite plusWe offer very competitive salary and a sales bonus along with comprehensive benefit package including retirement plan, paid vacation, flexible hours and hybrid work locations.
