Volvo Penta is looking for a Sales Application Engineer for the industrial segment (Key industrial OEMs and New Technologies) located in the Market Finland (Vantaa). Market Unit Finland belongs to the North Europe Hub including Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Benelux. In the North Europe hub we support some of Volvo Penta’s key industrial OEMs.The industrial segment at Volvo Penta offers world class drive line solutions for a broad variety of applications, such as gensets, material handling, agriculture, mining and so on. The segment has grown steadily in the recent years, mainly with new projects concerning the new emissions portfolio.As Sales Application Engineer your main responsibility is to provide our OEM customers with an efficient technical sales and installation engineering support.A key focus will be to grow the new technology business thought prospecting and approaching new stakeholders. The Volvo Penta new technologies solutions include dual fuel engines, energy storage systems, electric drivelines and so on. We are looking for a customer-focused person with strong commitment and engagement to support our OEMs and dealers and further develop the business with us.The position is based in Vantaa, Finland but involves frequent travelling within Finland and Sweden. You will report to the Sales Director for North Europe.To be successful in this role we want you to utilize your technical and customer-oriented skills to ensure the best possible installation of our products in our OEMs machines, and that their end customers get maximum performance from their Volvo Penta products.To succeed you will need to work in very close collaboration with your peers at the customer, e.g. OEM engineering & design functions, to build an understanding of their needs and requirements. You will also work closely with key internal stakeholders to promote the OEM requirements as well as getting their support to succeed. This position is a part of a team with skilled and inspired colleagues that will contribute to your success but also count on you to support them in their daily work.
