The company targets 2-3 acquisitions annually in areas like roofing, plastering, waterproofing, concrete restoration, and window installation to build a robust platform of 7-10 companies.Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales and Marketing Associate to join our dynamic team in the restoration construction industry. This entry-level role will support sales and marketing initiatives, focusing on lead generation, client relationship building, and promotional activities to drive growth in exterior maintenance services for condominiums and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will assist in optimizing our presence in the Florida market, leveraging industry events, digital tools, and marketing materials to highlight our unique differentiation. This position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for growth into more independent marketing responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesTrack and optimize company attendance at key industry events, including International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) chapter activities in Florida, American Concrete Institute (ACI) events, and commercial property management associations such as the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) or Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), to enhance networking and lead generation.Assist estimators in developing compelling marketing materials, such as brochures, case studies, and presentations, that effectively communicate RL James' story of differentiation, including our expertise in structural renovation, concrete repair, and recent acquisitions.Implement and manage the HubSpot CRM tool to improve cross-selling opportunities among companies within our platform, including data entry, lead tracking, and reporting on sales pipelines.Support initial lead prospecting and qualification through phone calls, emails, and follow-ups, bridging engagement to senior sales team members for closing.Conduct market research on competitors, industry trends, and potential acquisition targets in areas like roofing, plastering, and waterproofing to inform sales strategies.Eventually take ownership of social media management (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) and digital marketing on the company website (RLJames.com), including content creation, posting success stories, and performance analytics.Collaborate with the sales team on site visits, client presentations, and relationship-building activities to promote services like painting, stucco, and impact window installation.Monitor and report on marketing campaign effectiveness, using tools like Google Analytics or CRM dashboards to suggest improvements.Provide administrative support for sales proposals, estimates, and contract negotiations, ensuring timely follow-up with clients in the condominium and commercial sectors.Stay updated on restoration construction best practices, regulations, and innovations to contribute to team knowledge sharing.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).0-2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a customer-facing role; prior exposure to the construction, restoration, or building services industry is a plus but not required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and industry stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM software like HubSpot or similar tools is highly desirable.Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing basics; eagerness to learn website management (e.g., WordPress or similar).Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track event logistics, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel within Florida for industry events, site visits, and team meetings (valid driver's license required).Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude, problem-solving abilities, and a demonstrated track record of leadership in school, sports, or professional life.Knowledge of sales methodologies, lead generation techniques, and client advisory approaches is advantageous.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.Opportunities for professional development, including training in sales techniques, CRM systems, and industry certifications.A collaborative work environment with exposure to strategic acquisitions and growth in a leading Florida-based restoration firm.Potential for advancement into senior marketing or sales roles as the company expands its platform.RL James, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
