Company DescriptionJocam Nigeria Limited is dedicated to providing bespoke solutions to the Nigeria Energy and Marine IndustryRole DescriptionThis is a full-time role for 2 Sales/Service Engineers for the Marine industry located in Abraham Adesanya, Lagos and Trans Amadi, Port Harcourt. The sales and service engineer will be responsible for sales, customer visits , communication, and training related to sales and service of Alfa Laval products in Lagos and Port Harcourt.QualificationsThe sales and service engineer job involves a dual role of driving sales and providing technical support for our company's products. Key responsibilities include identifying customer needs, presenting technical solutions, generating sales leads, building customer relationships, and providing after-sales support like installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This position requires a blend of sales acumen and deep technical expertise to meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction and retention. ResponsibilitiesSales and Business Development:Identify and prospect new customers, and maintain relationships with existing clients.Develop and deliver technical presentations and proposals for products or services.Understand customer requirements and engineer solutions that meet their needs.Collaborate with sales teams to achieve sales goals and negotiate prices.Technical Support and Service:Install, test, and maintain equipment at customer sites.Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems reported by customers.Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of products.Perform and document all calibration and repairs according to company standards.Market and Product Analysis:Research competitors' products to effectively propose company alternatives.Analyze sales data and provide reports on performance and market trends.Relay customer feedback to product development and management teams to improve products. RequirementsEducation and Skills:A bachelor's degree in engineering is often required, sometimes with specific experience in a relevant industry like manufacturing or automotive.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Proficiency with software like Excel for reporting.Experience:Experience in sales, account acquisition, and management is highly valued.Experience in the specific industry of the company (e.g., machine tools, industrial machinery) is often preferred.Other:Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations.Ability to work independently.
