Italy is Thales Group’s competence centre for tramway signalling solutions. The activity of SIX domain: mission critical solutions and applications for assets and citizens security (supervision, control and information management systems) as well as cybersecurity. Thales offers solutions to protect the information systems and critical data of its civilian and military customers and helps its customers to detect and prevent cyberattacks by devising secure architectures from the design stage, overseeing these architectures and ensures that they are kept in secure working order. Italy is Thales Group’s competence centre for Airport security and operations management solutions.Missions & ResponsibilitiesSales ExecutionBuilds order intake ambitionAssigns order intake targets to accounts and sales resourcesImplements and coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes with Head of Sales and Account ManagersEnsures the development of Account plansMaintains regular check-ins with BL Sales Managers to review closing plan (especially for Must Win opportunities)Supports Marketing in lead qualification and pipeline growth programsSupports the Sales & Operations planning process (workload capacity)Reporting & Performance AnalysisProvides order intake forecasts per GBU/BL (if in GBU) or per country/account (if in Destination)Performs recurring sales reporting (i.e. MOIR, BOR, OI Rally)Measures sales efficiency by monitoring win rate, profitability of order Intake (GMOI) and sales expense ratio (Revenue over JF02 function costs)Proposes assignment of sales awards to maximize order intakeOperations ManagementContinuously improves sales efficiencyDrives the improvement of sales capabilities and performance of the accountsProactively identifies CRM platform improvementsHelps with the identification of sales talents and supports processFacilitates on-boarding of new sales resourcesData StewardshipEnsures customer data integrityEnsures that sales data for the opportunities & accounts is updated and accurateKEY DELIVERABLESDelivery of sales execution plansDelivery of sales reports and performance analyses as requiredData accuracyKEY INTERACTIONSHead of SalesSales ManagersAccount ManagersOther members of the Account teamsMarketing (Segment, PLMs)Human ResourcesFinanceSkills & Experience RequireBusiness analyticsOperations planningAdvanced knowledge of Excel & CRM toolsFluent in EnglishWorks across different job familiesBusiness issue identification and mitigationExperience as Sales manager, finance and controlling or quality managementAt Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
