Working closely with the Sales Manager, the Sales Development Manager is responsible for identifying opportunities in the region and is focused on creating winning conditions for HACH. Collaborating closely with Channels Partners and targeted Accounts across the water treatment segment, the SDM will build reliable sales funnels and strong partnerships.This position is fully remote and will require many travels in the region (up to 60% of the time) and should ideally be located in Poland or Romania.In this role, your main tasks will be:Provide technical and sales training and support our Channel Partners to deliver their annual goal.Participate in site visits, trade shows, demos, and seminars.Deliver on financial targets and KPIs through forecasting and funnel reviews.Introduce and maintain high discipline in pipeline and opportunity managementEnsure accuracy and up to date information entered into Salesforce.comDevelop new business opportunities with both Key accounts/EPCs and indirect channels.Engage authorities, engineering firms, and influencers to strengthen market presence.Track competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain advantages.Create an energized and positive environment for the Sales team (Channel Partners)Work closely with other functions such as Product Management, Marketing to drive performance and develop skills.The essential requirements of the job include:Engineering or Chemical background (chemistry, process, environmental, measuring or control technology).Very good understanding of the water market in CIS & Baltics (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania)More than 5 years of experience in the water process market, water treatments, and water technologies (water analysis, wastewater technology, drinking water, surface water, …).Proven business acumen for the municipal & industrial market.Proficiency in CRM tools for funnel management and forecasting (ideally SalesForce) and use in the daily management of MS Pack Office IT tools.Excellent communication, strong relationship-building and presentation skills in a multicultural environment.Self-motivated, customer-focused, and problem-solving mindset.Willing to travel (approx 60%) within CIS and Baltics regionRigorous, organized, and methodical in monitoring files, managing activities both in the field and remotely, while adhering to the Group's Compliance rules.Fluent in English and RussianAt Hach (Hach Careers), we ensure water quality for people around the world, and every associate plays a vital role in that mission.
