Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team in Japan. The SDR will play a critical role in supporting the sales pipeline by validating and nurturing inbound leads, supporting outbound campaigns and outbound reach outs, ensuring data accuracy, and handing over the qualified leads to Sales Executives or Business Partner Managers. This role requires strong communication skills in both Japanese and English and the ability to engage prospects across multiple channels.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, self-driven environment and values teamwork, precision, and proactive outreach.Key Responsibilities:Manage multichannel outreach (email, calls, social) to validate and nurture leads.Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and update all interactions in the central CRM system.Pass Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to the appropriate Sales or Business Partner teams.Plan and execute contact strategies to increase engagement, nurture leads, and support conversion goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure lead data is accurate, timely, and actionable.Support the execution and tracking of email marketing or online campaigns as needed.Maintain clean and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and product interest in CRM.Understand and effectively communicate HCLSoftware’s product portfolio and value proposition.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.2–4 years of experience in software sales, lead generation, or inside sales—preferably in B2B or enterprise tech.Native-level proficiency in Japanese and fluency in English.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Self-motivated with an analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and basic email/online campaign execution.A genuine interest in technology, SaaS solutions, and the digital sales landscape.
