You are their Expert Guide, the person who helps them take their first confident step toward protecting their home with a standby generator. Your mission is to build trust from the first call, answer questions with clarity, and set a simple, confident path to an in-home consultation with our sales team. This role requires a varied schedule to ensure coverage during peak times, including some evenings and weekends as needed.In day-to-day operations, you will proactively follow up with homeowners, often aged 50–80, who are exploring backup power solutions. You will use a structured cadence of calls, texts, and emails to guide them through an important long-term decision with empathy, patience, and persistence.When severe weather or outages hit, this role becomes the heartbeat of the company. You are the calm, expert voice providing reassurance and clear next steps for high-anxiety homeowners.What You Will DoWin the Race to Lead: Respond with urgency to new high-intent inquiries. In this industry, speed is trust.Set the Stage to Win: Build trust early by communicating our value as a generator specialist partner emphasizing certified in-house technicians, long-term warranties up to 10 years, and install speed.Empower with Key Motivators: Clearly explain our all-in pricing, flexible financing, and maintenance membership programs to help homeowners make informed decisions.Own Outbound Prospecting: Follow up with uncontacted, aged, or re-engagement leads using professional persistence across phone, text, and email.Capture Complete Customer Data: Maintain accurate, detailed lead information in HubSpot and/or ServiceTitan to ensure seamless customer handoffs.Prime Every Appointment: Confirm expectations, decision-makers, and availability to set our field team up for success.Collaborate Across Teams: Work with marketing, dispatch, outside sales, and service to ensure a smooth customer journey and continuous improvement.What Success Looks Like (Your Scorecard)Appointments Kept: Book appointments that result in approximately 180 completed in-home consultations per month (based on team allocation).Pipeline Contribution: Generate $1M or more in qualified monthly sales pipeline.Speed to Lead: Achieve a speed-to-lead of under 5 minutes for high-intent inbound leads.Contact & Conversion: Meet weekly targets for first-attempt contact, set rate from contacts, and show rate from appointments.Data Quality: Maintain complete and accurate notes and lead stages on 100 percent of interactions.Customer Experience: Build trust and credibility through clear communication, empathy, and professionalism in every interaction.Skills and ExperienceExperience in inside sales or sales development with measurable results in a fast-paced environmentHome service or residential sales experience is a plusStrong phone presence and active listening skillsConfidence in objection handling and communicating valueOrganized and disciplined with cadences and follow-upsCoachable and data-driven, open to feedback and call reviewTech-savvy with CRMs (HubSpot, ServiceTitan), dialers, texting tools, and scheduling platformsSpanish fluency is a plus in several of our marketsTraining and GrowthWe will train you, and we expect you to learn fast.
