With installations spanning multiple continents and customers ranging from world-leading beverage brands to innovative agricultural producers, we are setting new standards for the future of food and bio-based industries.We are now looking for a Sales Director – Asia-Pacific professional to join our team — someone passionate about driving growth, building customer relationships, and bringing groundbreaking technology to life in one of the world’s most dynamic regions.EMPLOYMENT, POSITION, AND TITLEDepartment: SalesTitle: Sales Director – Asia-PacificDUTIES AND JOB DESCRIPTIONOverall ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Director for the Asia-Pacific region is responsible for driving commercial growth while ensuring smooth technical implementation and service of OptiCept’s solutions. The role is a hybrid position with a strong focus on sales activities, as well as coordinating technical support and bridging customer relationships with operational delivery.Key responsibilities include:Driving sales to meet targets and managing customer relationships across the Asia-Pacific regionEngaging with customers and agents, supporting negotiations, quotations, and CRM updatesCoordinating local technical installations, service visits, and support activities in collaboration with internal technical teams and external partnersSupporting product demonstrations, trade shows, and customer visitsMaintaining and developing relationships with distributors, agents, universities, and local partnersActing as a link between the Asia-Pacific market and OptiCept headquarters to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvementStandards and ComplianceIn performing these duties, the Sales Director must:Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and professional practicesAct in the best interests of the company and safeguard its reputationWork in line with the company’s ISO 9001 quality management system, following procedures and helping to improve them over timeEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSWe are looking for someone with:8-10 years of experience in B2B sales of technical solutions to the LA food industry, preferably bringing a strong network from sales to the liquid food processors.Strong track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales budgets.Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects in parallel.Technical understanding of food processing, mechanical engineering, or related fields.Excellent communication skills in English and Thai A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionallyExperience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office is a plusPLACE AND HOURS OF WORKWork LocationThe role will be based in Thailand. Travel to customers, agents, partners, head office, or suppliers 100+ days yearly, across Asia-Pacific and internationally will be required.Working HoursFull-time position, 40 hours per weekOffice hours: 08:00–17:00 (local time), with flexibility as agreed with the managerNo extra pay for overtime or time spent traveling
