Job Description

The role of Sales Director is leading sales operations in South Korea market to achieve sales target assigned. This included managing sales team, coordinate with partners, develop new business, control cost to ensure profitability and oversee office administration.Major Responsibilities:Generate Revenue from selling Global Sources Online and trade shows in South Korea through direct selling and agentsSales team development- Develop and manage a professional sales team for long term business growth, through sales strategy planning, recruitment, training, double call, sales process monitoring, regular sales performance review and enhancementSupplier market Development – maintain current partners from government and associations to support sales in Korea and develop new based on the company development and local sales strategy. Carry out supplier marketing activities to support salesSales office budget preparation and cost monitoringReporting – Providing regular report about sales progress, market & competitor update, action plan execution. Feedback to finance, HR and Customer Service based on requestRequirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree or aboveWorking Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 2 years in managerial or directorial rolesSkills & Certificates: Sales process management, coaching skillsLanguage: Proficiency in English and Korean (Mandarin is a plus)Personality Traits: Leadership, effective communicator with decision-makers and officials, results-oriented, positive attitudeOthers: Experience with B2B platforms and trade shows, connections within the industry are a plus
