Job scopeSales Strategy & Market Growth• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Greater China market, aligning with company goals and revenue targets.• Identify growth opportunities across stores, eCommerce, and mass retail channels, among others• Tailor strategies to the unique preferences and buying behaviors of the China market.Relationship Building & Business Development• Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with all parties in the ecosystem including retailers, distributors, breakers, and eCommerce platforms.• Foster strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders within the global business to promote long-term collaboration.• Actively seek opportunities to expand into untapped regions and strengthen existing partnerships.Sales Operations & Allocations• Oversee the placement of sales orders and manage product allocations to ensure efficient distribution and availability across channels.• Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to optimize allocation strategies for the China market.Reporting & Performance Monitoring• Develop and maintain regular reporting cadences to track sales performance, allocations, and channel metrics.• Analyze sales data to identify trends, inform strategy adjustments, and provide actionable insights.Multi-Channel Oversight• Manage and grow performance across all sales channels, including stores, eCommerce, and mass retail.• Ensure alignment of channel strategies with broader sales objectives.• Collaborate with channel partners to implement promotions, merchandising plans, and customer engagement initiatives.Customer Experience & Success• Deliver exceptional customer service to retailers, distributors, and partners to foster satisfaction and loyalty.• Address and resolve challenges proactively to maintain strong relationships and market presence.Team Leadership & Collaboration• Build and lead a high-performing sales team with a focus on the China market.• Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations both in China and in the U.S., ensuring alignment and success in growing business in the regionRequirement:• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record in the China market.• Industry experience in sports consumer goods preferred.• Demonstrated success managing sales across stores, eCommerce, and mass retail.• Proven experience with China-specific tech and eCommerce platforms, such as WeChat, Tmall, JD.com, Douyin, and Pinduoduo, is essential.• Fluency in English and Mandarin.• Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.• Proficiency in placing sales orders and managing allocations.• Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to drive decisions and improve performance.• Experience collaborating in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
