MUST BE A RESIDENT OF GUYANAThe Sales Director will lead business development efforts with a strategic focus on government and public sector clients. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with deep local connections, a proven record of closing high-value contracts .This role requires an individual who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on closer, capable of identifying opportunities, influencing decision-makers, and securing major contracts that align with the company’s growth strategy.Key Responsibilities* Develop and execute a sales and growth strategy targeting key government ministries, agencies, and state entities.* Identify, pursue, and secure high-value contracts in the security, defense, and technology sectors.* Leverage established networks and relationships to open new business channels and drive the company's visibility and credibility.* Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and presentations to government and enterprise clients.* Collaborate with technical teams to design customized solutions that address client needs and compliance standards.* Provide accurate sales forecasts, revenue projections, and strategic insights to senior management.* Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat business and client satisfaction.* Stay informed on public tenders, government initiatives, and technology/security trends to anticipate new opportunities.* Mentor and support the internal sales team to enhance capability and performance.Qualifications & Experience* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).* Proven track record of closing major contracts with government or public institutions.* Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development or sales leadership, ideally within security, defense, or technology sectors.* Strong understanding of procurement processes, tendering systems, and decision-making structures in Guyana’s public sector.* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.* Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence key stakeholders at all levels.High level of integrity, professionalism, and results orientation.What We Offer* Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.* Attractive performance-based bonuses tied to sales targets and contract wins.* Opportunity to represent a fast-growing, innovative company shaping the future of security and technology in Guyana.* Dynamic and collaborative work environment with room for professional growth.
