Sales Director DACH - Textiles and PPE Austria Based We’re representing a market-leading provider of medical textiles, PPE, and hygiene solutions that supports hospitals, clinics, and care facilities across Europe. With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, the company is experiencing rapid growth and is now seeking a Sales Director DACH to lead commercial strategy, expand market share, and drive high-impact partnerships in one of its most important regions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Sales teams' operations and strategies.
By researching market trends and conducting competitor analysis, you will develop and implement sales strategies. ResponsibilitiesLead & Inspire – Manage, coach, and develop the DACH sales team to deliver ambitious growth targets. Drive Growth – Build and execute regional sales strategies to increase market share in medical textiles, PPE, and hygiene services, as well as other arms and customer bases outside of this. Expand Partnerships – Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, clinics, and care facilities (procurement, infection control, C-level). Win Business – Oversee tender management and contract negotiations for large healthcare accounts.
Shape Strategy – Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align solutions with customer and market needs. Champion Innovation & Sustainability – Position the company as the trusted partner for safe, efficient, and future-proof healthcare solutions. Deliver Results – Set KPIs, track performance, and ensure consistent delivery against ambitious regional revenue goals. We’re looking for a proven commercial leader who thrives in these settings and understands the complexities of the DACH market from a service perspective. Sales Leadership: 10+ years in senior commercial roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position managing multi-country teams. Sector Expertise:
Strong track record in medical textiles, PPE, infection control, or related healthcare service solutions. Experience working with hospitals, clinics, or healthcare procurement bodies is essential. Tender & Contract Success: Demonstrated success leading tender processes and securing long-term contracts with major healthcare institutions and transitional markets. Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the DACH healthcare ecosystem — including procurement structures, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape. Strategic Networker: Well-established relationships with hospital groups, procurement bodies, and decision-makers in healthcare. Business Acumen: Proven ability to design and deliver commercial strategies, drive profitable growth, and manage P&L responsibility. Languages:
