Sales Engineer – Open Networking | Dublin (Hybrid, Travel Required)About EPS GlobalEPS Global is a rapidly expanding technology distributor specializing in open networking and optical technologies. We partner with leading vendors to deliver next-generation connectivity solutions to ISPs, telecom operators, and data centers worldwide. As we continue to grow our presence in Dublin, we are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team and support our customers' technical requirements.The RoleAs a Sales Engineer, you will serve as the technical liaison between EPS Global and our customers, supporting the design, configuration, and deployment of advanced open networking solutions. Working closely with the sales team, vendor partners, and customer technical stakeholders, you will ensure optimal implementation and utilization of our product portfolio.A key component of this role involves establishing and maintaining our demonstration laboratory, equipped with the latest hardware and software platforms to showcase solution capabilities and provide customer-specific configuration assistance.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage directly with customers in a technical consultancy capacity, attending meetings and proposing solutions aligned with their specific requirementsConduct site visits and collaborate with customer engineering teamsProvide ongoing technical support to customers throughout the implementation lifecycleDeliver technical expertise to the sales team on open networking products and solutionsConfigure and test solutions utilizing platforms including SONiC and IP Infusion (comprehensive training provided)Develop and manage a demonstration laboratory environment featuring EPS's networking and optical product rangeMaintain collaborative relationships with vendor partners to ensure thorough understanding and effective communication of product capabilitiesWork with ISPs, telecommunications providers, and data center operators to assess needs and recommend appropriate solutionsSupport customer demonstrations, proof-of-concept initiatives, and technical documentation developmentRequired Qualifications3–5+ years of experience in technical sales engineering or related technical roleBackground in networking, systems integration, or telecommunications environmentsStrong working knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking concepts; experience with optical networking is advantageousDemonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiencesDegree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent professional experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a commitment to continuous learning, particularly regarding emerging technologies such as SONiC and IP InfusionWhat EPS Global OfferOpportunity to work with a global distributor recognized for excellence in open networking and optical technologiesCollaboration with industry-leading vendors and innovative customers across Europe and beyondA supportive, team-oriented environment where contributions are valued and innovation is encouragedProfessional development opportunities including technical training, career advancement, and international exposureHow to ApplyTo apply for this position, please send your CV and a cover letter outlining your experience and why you're the perfect fit for the role to our recruitment team at aconroy@epsglobal.com
