You own the technical relationship in the pre-sales phase and help close business by delivering clear, hands-on technical guidance onsite, online and remotely.ResponsibilitiesAct as the trusted technical advisor in pre-sales cyclesRun Proof of Concepts and support implementation of Trend Micro solutionsDeliver demos of Trend Cloud Solutions and integrations with AWS, Azure, GCPSolve complex cloud and security design challengesBuild and maintain strong technical relationships with customers and partnersContribute to alliance projects, beta programs and SE best practicesDevelop internal readiness and subject matter expertiseRegional travel up to ~30–35%QualificationsWe are open to two profiles:Early-career technologists (architect / developer / network / systems engineer) wanting to transition into Sales Engineering in Cyber Security; orExperienced Sales Engineers / Security Specialists with:3+ years SE or professional services experience3+ years security product exposure (firewalls, AV, IDS/IPS, content security)Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP environmentsSOC or Incident Response experience is a plusDesirableCEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSPAWS certificationsUnderstanding of security incidents & cloud architecturesExperience with Python / PowerShell / BashStrong communication and customer-facing skillsAt Trend Micro we embrace change, empower people and encourage innovation.
