However, as industries beyond finance increasingly recognize the importance of AI Governance, driven by AI regulations such as the EU AI Act, new opportunities are emerging for Yields.Your role as Sales ExecutiveWe are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our commercial team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the company’s growth and expanding the adoption of our AI governance solution into new verticals outside of finance (e.g. HR, Energy, Healthcare, Telco, etc). Your mission will be to support and execute our go-to-market strategy while building and growing a portfolio of clients in these new verticals. As part of your commercial role, you’ll act as an ambassador for AI governance. Building your professional network, sharing insights on LinkedIn and at events, and helping position Yields as a trusted voice in the market. This is a unique opportunity to shape our go-to-market strategy, grow new client relationships, and become the commercial face of our AI governance solution.How you’ll make an impactDrive new business: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in industries beyond our core finance market, particularly those increasingly recognizing the need for AI governance solutions and aiming to comply with AI standards such as the EU AI Act.Market Expansion: Assist in positioning Yields as a leader in AI governance, with a focus on the EU market. Collaborate with Yields’ marketing lead to develop tailored messaging, presentations, and case studies, and help organize impactful events and webinars.Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed annual sales targets. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, negotiation, and closing with implementation handoff to Customer Success.Partnership support: Support our Partnership Manager in developing sales plans with our partners in AI governance.Prospection and Networking: Build a strong network in AI Governance and drive pipeline growth through proactive outreach across LinkedIn, email, and phone.Reporting: Keep the Head of Sales informed on new business leads, pipeline status, and key ongoing sales efforts.Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in AI, AI governance and, industry regulations. What we’re looking for+ 5Y of experience in business development, or sales within technology industries.Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Demonstrated ability to navigate and thrive in a technical environment.Proven track record of working in a start-up/scale-up organization. Demonstrated success in generating new business opportunities, with strong prospecting skills and the ability to open new doors in untapped markets. Strong verbal and written communication, fluent in English. Demonstrated experience in successfully managing end-to-end sales cycles.Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.Analytical and problem-solving mindset.Proficiency with sales tools (e.g. Hubspot & LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to manage leads, sales activities, and pipelines.Big plus: previous experience at an AI company and familiarity with AI governance standards, such as the EU AI Act.
