Air Liquide began operations in Malaysia in 1927 and is one of the pioneers of the gas industry in Malaysia. Operating in 11 locations in Malaysia, comprising both sales offices and production facilities, Air Liquide supports our customers through providing innovative solutions at every step of their production, including industrial and specialty gases, energy solutions, application technologies and services. With a strong workforce of 400 employees and business growth through our recent acquisition with nationwide presence, this will provide an exciting experience and journey with the opportunity that is unique yet challenging to gauge the integration and synergy processes that will change the entire competition landscape in Malaysia. We are seeking a proactive, client-focused Sales Executive to expand new business, maintain existing client relationships, and ensure the achievement of sales targets. This role requires strong communication and coordination skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Sales and Business Development Analyze Sales Data: Prepare detailed sales analysis and reports using tools like Bar+, Gideons, and Power BI to track sales evolution and trends. Drive New Business: Identify new sales opportunities and negotiate major deals by aligning the sales process with the customer's decision-making process. Enhance Account Profitability: Review and improve the profitability of accounts, assess growth potential, and strengthen the contracts portfolio (e.g., contract duration, price escalation clauses, and agreements). Customer Relationship Management Build Customer Loyalty: Schedule and hold regular meetings with key decision-makers to ensure a strong, positive perception of Air Liquide as a unified global company. Manage Financial Health: Review and monitor customer debt to ensure timely collection of payments. Monitor Inventory: Track and manage customer cylinder holdings, including recovering overdue cylinders from inactive accounts. Internal Operations and Reporting Oversee Offers and Contracts: Lead the review process for offers, agreements, and contracts, ensuring they align with company policy, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations, and account plans. Communicate Progress: Report on contract signings and oversee their implementation. Maintain and update a centralized dashboard with sales results and visit reports for the account team and management.
