Sales Manager- Compact Construction Equipment

Brandt is currently seeking a Compact Construction Equipment Sales Manager for our Construction & Forestry Edmonton location.This position is responsible for achieving sales growth and profitability of the WPS sales department which encompasses the sale of John Deere Compact Construction Equipment including skid steers and mini excavators, Ditch Witch, Morbark, American Augers, and Brandt Equipment Solutions trailers.Duties & responsibilitiesAchieving asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assist, including but not limited to new and used wholegood inventoryProviding for the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goalsManagement and development of all employees in the Compact Construction Sales Department with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers, and employeesAchieving market share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the companyProviding feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressuresAssisting in the management of account receivables in conjunction with the Branch Manager and the Credit DepartmentOther duties as assignedRequired Skills:Ability to develop sound, positive relationships with internal and external clientsExcellent communication skills – verbal and written – are requiredKnowledge of the equipment and construction industry is considered an assetRequired Experience:Proven sales experience (preferably within the construction/forestry industry)3-5 years' progressively responsible management experienceCandidates must currently possess or be able to obtain a valid passport, and be able to travel internationallyA recent driver’s abstract will be requiredTo learn more about this position please visit www.brandtjobs.com and enter the tracking code 10959-046 into the search field.We would like to thank all candidates in advance for their interest in this position, however only those being considered will be contacted.
