Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue, margin, and market expansion targets across agriculture, chemical, and fertilizer sectors. Identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and regional markets to expand product penetration. Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial agreements ensuring profitable and sustainable growth.Market Development & Product Promotion Conduct market research to analyze trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the agriculture and chemical industries. Promote a portfolio of products (e.g., fertilizers, crop protection, agricultural chemicals, specialty additives) to customers, distributors, and end-users. Work closely with marketing teams to support product launches, technical workshops, and promotional campaigns.Key Account Management Manage and nurture long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, plantation groups, agro-dealers, and industrial chemical buyers. Provide solutions-based selling by understanding customer challenges, applications, and product requirements. Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, quotations, orders, and product trials.Technical & Operational Support Collaborate with technical teams and principals/suppliers to provide application guidance, technical presentations, and product recommendations. Support customer product trials, demos, and field visits to drive adoption and product performance visibility. Work with supply chain and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery, inventory planning, and order fulfillment.Reporting & Business Planning Prepare accurate monthly sales forecasts, activity reports, and market insights for management review. Track performance against KPIs and recommend strategic adjustments when needed. Support budgeting, pricing strategies, and annual sales planning.RequirementsJob Requirements:Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Agribusiness, or related fields. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in sales within agriculture, crop solutions, fertilizers, chemicals, or related B2B sectors. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of agricultural inputs, fertilizers, chemicals, or crop-related products. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong customer relationship management and ability to engage with both field-level and senior-level stakeholders. Analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.Personal Attributes Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented. Strong problem-solving abilities and a consultative sales approach. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel for customer visits, field trials, business meetings, and industry events.
