In this role, you will build and lead a team of high-performing Account Executives, helping them to develop their skills and deliver on their ambitious targets, as well as roll your sleeves up to work directly with customers. We are looking for a proactive leader who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, managing high-performing teams and solving complicated problems with limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have management and leadership experience scaling a technology sales team and possess first-class analytical, communication and relationship-building skills.You WillDevelop and lead a team of Account Executives who focus on small and medium, high-growth, tech-forward businesses Work with senior leadership to develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team, and manage day-to-day operations with a focus on performance against key sales and growth metricsBe accountable for increasing revenue and new client acquisition at high rates of growthCoach and guide the team in developing consultative and solution-based sales skillsInspire, motivate and enable development of team members to promote career growth and impact for Stripe Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization to help shape Stripe’s products and solutions to meet customer needsPlay a personal and direct role in building and maintaining enduring customer relationships, up to C-level.Implement programs to improve pipeline generation efforts and improve overall efficiency for the teamWe’re Looking For Someone Who Has8+ years of relevant sales experienceExtensive experience in the payments industry, managing consultative complex sales cycle for large enterpriseExperience leading sales in an early stage, high-growth technology environmentAbility to hire, train and coach a high-performance sales teamAbility to build relationships with strategic client and industry thought leadersDemonstrated passion for start-ups and new technology businessesAbility to understand and articulate technical concepts, and translate them into industry- or business-relevant termsProficient in english at a professional capacityNice To HavesPrior experience at a growth stage internet/software companyPrior experience forecasting and managing a high growth commercial businessPrior experience running complex sales cycles, ideally with both commercial and enterprise size companiesIn-office expectationsOffice-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in our Bucharest, Romania site have an 80% in-office expectation, and those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.Pay and benefitsStripe does not yet include pay ranges in job postings in every country.
