Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead business development, sales, and customer relationship activities across the European region for a global leader in industrial bakery and snack processing systems. This role is ideal for a technically minded sales professional with strong experience in industrial food manufacturing equipment, particularly in baked goods, snacks, cookies, and crackers.As the Sales Manager, you will drive growth, expand market presence, and develop long-term relationships with customers and partners. You will collaborate closely with internal engineering and applications teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs, while representing the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer sites across Europe. This is a remote position with the reporting office in the Nethelands. Successful candidate can be based anywhere in Europe. Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve annual sales objectives and performance goals within the European territory.Identify, develop, and manage relationships with existing and prospective customers.Expand the company’s footprint across Europe through strategic business development.Lead the proposal and quotation process from concept through to successful project installation.Collaborate with Engineering and Applications teams to ensure technical feasibility and project alignment with customer needs.Conduct on-site customer visits to assess facilities, review layouts, and recommend optimized solutions.Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and project documentation.Attend major international trade shows and represent the company professionally across the baking and snack processing industries.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies within the food manufacturing equipment sector.What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years’ industrial sales experience within the food manufacturing equipment sector.Proven success in the baking, cookie, cracker, or snack processing industries.Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex equipment specifications.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused mindset.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.Collaborative team player capable of working across global functions.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are an asset.Willingness to travel extensively
