Motul is a world-class French company specializing in the formulation, production, and distribution of high-tech engine lubricants for two-wheelers, cars, and other vehicles, as well as industrial lubricants through its MotulTech division.Motul is globally recognized as a pioneer in synthetic lubricants — having developed the first 100% synthetic automotive lubricant (300V) in 1971, based on Esters technology from the aerospace industry.With a strong heritage in motorsports, Motul continues to serve as an official supplier to many racing teams and manufacturers, contributing to ongoing technological advancements in the fieldJOB SUMMARYThe Sales Manager for Motul Lubricants (UAE) is a dynamic and pivotal role responsible for spearheading the company’s sales initiatives and driving growth across the UAE and Oman.This individual will be accountable for achieving sales volume targets, optimizing the product mix, and ensuring alignment with Motul’s strategic goals.To succeed in this position, the candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to fieldwork — spending approximately 90% of their time engaging directly with customers across all assigned regions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSales & Business DevelopmentDevelop and implement strategies to achieve assigned volumetric and product mix targets for UAE and Oman (in collaboration with distributors).Identify and secure new customer leads through research, networking, and prospecting.Acquire and grow key accounts to strengthen Motul’s presence in the market.Customer EngagementConduct customer visits to new prospects and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.Understand customer needs and promote Motul’s full product range in the field.Allocate time efficiently to ensure comprehensive coverage of all UAE regions plus Oman.Perform joint visits with distributor sales teams to improve market penetration and provide support.Sales Force DevelopmentTrain and mentor distributor sales teams in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.Conduct on-the-ground training sessions to ensure local teams are fully equipped to represent Motul effectively.Network ExpansionIdentify network coverage gaps and create plans to attract and onboard new dealers.Maintain a strong pipeline of potential partnerships to drive continuous network growth.Market AnalysisCollect and analyze market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and emerging trends.Adjust sales strategies in response to market developments to maintain a competitive edge.KEY REQUIREMENTSEducation & ExperienceBased in UAE.Master’s degree or equivalent qualification.Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in lubricant sales, primarily in the B2C segment.In-depth knowledge of the UAE and Oman lubricant markets.Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East when required.Proficiency in Business English (written and verbal).Arabic speakers are preferredPersonal SkillsStrong technical knowledge of lubricants and related products.Excellent proficiency in MS Office and computer applications.Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and team members.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Capable of leading, motivating, and developing distributor sales teams.Strategic thinker with strong planning and organizational skills.Exceptional time management, particularly for extensive fieldwork.Deep understanding and respect for UAE/Oman business practices and cultural norms.Ability to manage stress effectively while working under pressure and handling multiple demands.
