An exceptional opportunity to take on a standalone national sales role and drive significant growth with a global analytical instrumentation company that protects water quality for municipal & industrial customers across Norway.This newly created position will suit an experienced water industry focused salesperson who is commercially oriented within a technical environment and has fluent Norwegian & English language skills.The Opportunity Motivated by the highest possible stakes of climate change and global health, at Hach (www.hach.com), a Veralto company, we’re working together with customers to find innovative technologies that guarantee the safety of our water and our environment.Reporting to the Nordics General Manager and operating as part of the regional management team, the Sales Manager Norway is based remotely in Norway (ideally in Oslo) and travels regularly across the country to visit with customers and partners.The jobholder will accelerate growth by understanding existing/unmet customer needs, supporting and developing our distributors and strategic partners, building strong relationships with engineering consultants (E&C) and end users, gaining deeper insights into the competitive landscape and effectively positioning Hach and our solutions in the Norwegian market.Hach offers exceptional personal and career development opportunities in a collaborative, high performance ‘winning team’ environment. Whilst the role is currently a standalone, individual contributor position, we’re seeking someone with the aspiration and potential to grow into leadership.In this role, a typical day will look like:Build and manage strong relationships with Norwegian channel partnersDrive indirect sales revenue by developing joint business plans and monitoring partner performanceProvide partners with sales support, product training, and marketing resources to accelerate growthCollaborate with Nordic and global sales, marketing, and product teams to deliver consistent go-to-market strategiesDeliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reportsEnsure partners comply with company policies, pricing structures, and ethical guidelinesTravel in the territories making regular customer visitsRun all sales activities utilizing the CRM system (SFDC)Build a regional sales plan in alignment with business objectivesThe Ideal CandidateA strong track record of B2B sales success in the Norwegian water sector (indirect or channel sales exposure is useful but not critical)Excellent relationship building and communication skills, including fluent English & NorwegianIt would be useful to have experience working in large, high performance multinational company environments, with a strong focus on KPIs, forecasting, reporting, data, SFDC, continuous improvement etcProactive, agile, analytical mindset,Flexible to travel extensively across Norway and occasionally EuropeBachelors’ degree would be advantageous, particularly in the field of Chemistry, Environmental Studies or Chemical EngineeringAbout Hach Motivated by the highest possible stakes of climate change and global health, we’re working together within a rapidly digitizing industry to find innovative technologies that guarantee the safety of our water and our environment.
