Job Description

Primary Objective(s) of Position Source and develop new leads with a key focus on Oil & Gas clientele. Other verticals may include Heavy Equipment or Project LogisticsEstablish and maintain strong professional rapport with existing accounts to develop long term sustainable repeat business opportunitiesResponsible for achieving individual sales target and revenue growth Recommend suitable logistics services or solutions in tandem with overall corporate directions and strategiesKeep abreast of developing trends and gather market intelligence to develop appropriate sales strategiesMaintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and well executed service delivery to achieve high levels of customer satisfactionDischarge all account management responsibilitiesDuties & Responsibilities Participate in identifying corporate sales planning and strategiesDevelop pricing and business models based on customer needsIdentify and enlarge Targeted Customer Base and IndustryConduct Marketplace intelligence and researchPromote service offerings to customers and prospectsDevelop strong customer relationships through regular visits or timely response to queriesPreparation and submission of proposals to customersProvide after-sales customer support where requiredRespond to RFQs, tenders, RFIs, etc.Follow up on invoicing and paymentsSales Reporting and analysisTo commit and comply to HPL Occupational Health & Safety Management, and SystemTo commit and comply to HPL Quality Management SystemPerson SpecificationsDiploma/Degree in Sales or any other discipline relevant to the supply chain or logistics industryMinimum 5 years of working experience in logistics or supply chainGood presentation and communication skills Result-oriented Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
