A Hungarian-owned, internationally recognized company specializing in research and development (The products they have developed are widely used in various fields such as biotechnology, pharmaceutical technology, and chemical technology) is seeking a new Sales Manager to join its team.For over two decades, the company has been transforming laboratory chemical processes to make research safer and more efficient worldwide.In this role, you will lead a small sales team (3 people) while actively participating in sales operations and representing the company externally. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on business development responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement sales strategies; identify new business opportunitiesLead, motivate, and develop the sales team (local and remote as well – there is a US based team member as well)Conduct market analysis and introduce new sales methodologiesRepresent the company at international industry events; build professional networksTake ownership of business models and financial planningActively participate in day-to-day sales activitiesManage distributor networks and maintain relationshipsLaunch new products and develop go-to-market strategiesMonitor KPIs and performance metricsFocus on people management and team development (~30%)Collaborate closely with the marketing teamUse Salesforce CRM on a daily basisRequirements:University or college degree5+ years of relevant experience in salesExperience in international sales (preferably with exposure to US or UK markets)Proven track record in managing distributor networksNative Hungarian with excellent command of English, both written and spokenA degree in chemistry or a strong background/interest in the chemical industry is preferredStrong communication and negotiation skillsWillingness to travel internationallyWhat Our Client Offers:Career and professional development opportunities at a fast-growing, stable companyCompetitive compensation package including performance-based bonusesOpportunities for international travel (UK, USA, EU, Asia)Creative and challenging work in an inspiring team environment
