Position Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the overall sales performance of the hotel group by leading the Reservations and Front Office teams across all properties. This role will focus on maximizing bookings, improving revenue streams, and ensuring an exceptional guest journey from inquiry to check-out. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Marketing team and other stakeholders to execute effective sales strategies, build strong business partnerships, and consistently seek innovative ways to increase bookings and profitability.Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue GrowthDevelop and implement creative sales strategies to maximize occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and overall revenue.Identify and seize new business opportunities through corporate clients, travel agents, wholesalers, and other non-OTA channels.Regularly analyze booking trends, competitor activity, and market demand to provide actionable insights.Collaborate with the Marketing team on promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and direct booking incentives.2. Team Leadership & PerformanceLead, train, and motivate the Reservations and Front Office teams to achieve high performance and service standards.Monitor daily booking activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reservations and guest communications.Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance team members’ sales skills and upselling techniques.Foster a sales-driven culture across front-line teams with clear targets and incentives.3. Business DevelopmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with key partners: travel agents, corporate accounts, event organizers, and local tourism stakeholders.Develop packages and partnerships that align with guest demand and market opportunities.4. Operational & Strategic ExcellenceProvide regular sales reports, and performance reviews to management.Ensure alignment between guest experience at the front desk and reservation touchpoints, strengthening brand reputation.Take proactive initiatives in problem-solving and decision-making in any kind of operational circumstance.Qualifications & RequirementsProven track record in hotel sales, reservations, or front office leadership (minimum 3–5 years experience in hospitality).Strong knowledge of OTA platforms, direct booking strategies, and B2B sales channels.Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.Results-driven, ambitious, and highly motivated to exceed sales targets.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and networking abilities.Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into strategic action.Key AttributesAmbitious and proactive – constantly seeking new sales opportunities.High initiative – takes ownership in any situation to improve revenue and guest experience.Collaborative – works closely with Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure a cohesive growth strategy.Guest-focused – understands that sales success is tied to exceptional guest satisfaction and loyalty.
