The company recently raised $50 million in Series B funding, led by Keith Rabois at Khosla Ventures, bringing its total funding to more than $80 million.About The RoleWith huge growth in our SMB segment we are looking for a SMB Sales Manager to build, lead, and scale our growing SMB Law Firm (Velocity) sales team. This is a pivotal role in shaping our sales motion and coaching our team to deliver exceptional results in the fast-paced, high-volume SMB space. Reporting to the VP Sales, you will have the unique opportunity to influence strategy, processes, and culture while driving revenue growth.ResponsibilitiesRecruit, train, and develop a high-performing SMB sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Manage team performance to exceed individual and team sales targets, with a focus on rapid customer acquisition and retention. Optimize and scale our existing sales processes to drive efficiency and predictability. Create documentation, customer testimonials and other assets to address common pain points and pushback faced by the SMB sales team. Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align strategies, ensure a smooth handoff, and provide feedback on SMB customer needs. Track key sales metrics, identify trends, and present actionable insights to leadership to inform strategy. Actively participate in deals, providing coaching and guidance to the team on best practices and closing strategies. Qualifications3+ years of experience managing a high-performing SMB or velocity sales team of at least 5 people. Experience in B2B SaaS is highly preferred. Demonstrated success in a high volume, account executive role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas. Experience in legal tech or selling to law firms is a bonus. Strong operational skills, with experience in implementing or scaling sales processes and tools (e.g., CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot). Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. A deep understanding of SMB customers, their challenges, and how to solve them effectively. A desire to build from the ground up, with the adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
