Sales Manager – Fire Detection SystemsLocation: Brussels / South BrusselsAbout the CompanyWe are an established company specialising in the installation and implementation of fire detection and protection systems for industrial and commercial clients.We provide complete fire detection solutions — from design and sales to installation and aftercare — with a focus on safety, quality, and long-term partnerships.The RoleThe Sales Manager will take responsibility for developing new business and managing customer relationships in Brussels and South Brussels.You’ll be the key link between technical teams and clients, selling tailored fire detection solutions and ensuring smooth implementation.This is a hands-on commercial role that combines hunting new opportunities (60%) with developing existing accounts (40%), suited to a technically minded salesperson who understands fire safety systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a sales strategy for fire detection solutions in your region.Identify, approach, and win new clients (installation companies, building owners, facility managers).Manage and grow existing accounts through long-term relationships.Understand customer needs and translate them into appropriate technical solutions.Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure proposals are technically sound and deliverable.Follow up on quotations, close deals, and oversee the transition from sale to project execution.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire detection technologies, standards, and market trends.Background & Experience5–10 years of relevant experience in technical sales, preferably within fire detection, building automation, or electrical safety systems.Background as a technician or engineer who evolved into sales is a plus — provided you bring strong commercial drive.Good understanding of how fire detection systems are designed and installed.Skills & QualitiesStrong hunting and business development mindset.Able to structure your work and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.Technical affinity and curiosity about fire detection technologies.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Self-starter who can work independently but enjoys collaborating with a technical team.LanguagesFrench: fluent (daily business language).Dutch: good working level (to communicate with clients and colleagues).Compensation & BenefitsGross salary: €4,000 – €5,000 / monthNet allowance: €150 / monthCompany car + fuel cardAnnual target bonus: up to €10,000 based on performanceIf you are interested in this opportunity, click apply or reach out to me directly at zachary.rapinet@vividresourcing.com
