Job Description

BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for supporting all sales support functions for the North America Sales Team and all stages of the sales operations cycle. Will perform various activities from executing all sales operations, maintaining Salesforce dashboards and reports, and streamlining existing and/or implementing standard operating procedures. This role will serve as a liaison between various departments and for North America Sales. Responsible for maintaining effective, clear and concise communication leadership to ensure that all areas of North America Sales are aligned.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with management to create a communication plan, checklist of requirements and list of supporting materials required to communicate and train on brand initiatives, changes, updates and policies to create a consistent process.Assist Management with Salesforce (SFDC) and Pardot for North America Sales team. Will support with user support tickets for the sales team, budget loading and budget maintenance in SFDC, sales territory realignment, and technical Pardot user support.Assist Management with Seaware, Norwegian Central, and GDS systems. Support with creating and troubleshooting access for all North America Sales Team and provide troubleshooting assistance with GDS and API partner issues with the booking system. Coordinate national promotions set up with Key Travel Partners and Sales team.Create and maintain reports and dashboards that are relevant to all North America Sales via Salesforce and Tableau.Maintain a strong and ongoing relationship with IT (NCL.com IT, WebSupport, SteadyState Team) and Salesforce teams to ensure that all user support tickets are being worked on in accordance to priority.Respond to ongoing questions and activity logging inquiries for North America Sales including report requests, revenue reporting, and best practices in all Operations and Sales Systems platforms (Salesforce, Pardot, Norwegian Central, Tableau, etc.)Support North America Sales with inquiries regarding agency details that may include making necessary changes that will reflect in SFDC by working in conjunction with the New Agency Team.Manage the current 'Comp Cruises' program for North America Sales Team. Execute comp cruises for the sales team with approval of VP of Field Sales in liaison with Revenue Management. Communicate any changes to the program to Sales Leadership. Responsible for yearly log of redemption, monitor e-mail box and work on streamlining the program.Coordinate system set up, visibility and sharing rules for all new hires (SFDC, Seaware, District Master, etc.).Assist in training for new hires and system enhancements, as well as best practices for all North American sales via webinar and in person sales meetings.Create Standard Operations Procedures (SOP's) along with management for all processes and procedures implemented and created by Sales Systems and Operations team for the North America Sales.Act as the liaison of Sales Systems and Operations with all key players in the organization such as Revenue Management, IT, Guest Services, etc.Partner with Guest Services/Training to ensure efficiencies and to leverage and share assets.Assist with management of all trade and sales support systems, operations, communications and process-oriented tasks.Work across all NCL departments to gather information and distribute to interested Trade Communications team for distribution to Sales team members and travel partners.Ensure that processes are Sarbanes-Oxley compliant and adequately documented.Perform other job-related functions as assigned.KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant experience and skills.EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales, preferably in the travel industry, using a CRM system on the backend and can analyze sales data and provide to the sales team. Must have strong project management skills.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task effectively. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work additional hours and travel up to 25% as required. Strong organizational skills, self-motivator, and ability to problem solve, multi-task, and work well with others. A plus if candidate has worked with Sales budgets before. Strong team player to ensure and contribute to team success.
