Data & Analytics Sales for FICC / Equity Sales & Trading BusinessWe are a global leader in "Financial Data × Financial Analytics" headquartered in London. In addition, through a strategic partnership with Microsoft, we are jointly developing next-generation data analysis and modeling solutions.We are now expanding our Data & Analytics Sales team responsible for our flagship financial information desktop platform. The target clients are FICC/Equity Sales & Trading departments and asset management divisions. A key appeal of this role is the ability to take a strategic, high-level view of clients’ global expansion and presence, and propose how our solutions can help realize their goals from the ground up.This is a highly international environment where you will work in English daily through training, meetings, and collaboration. Beyond simply localizing overseas digital transformation (DX) cases for Japan, you will have the opportunity to co-create innovative solutions with executives and specialists at major financial institutions, potentially making Japan a leading example globally.Role ResponsibilitiesPropose data & analytics solutions to FICC & Equity Sales & Trading businessesUnderstand client workflows and challenges, conduct demos, propose solutions, and close dealsCollaborate with relationship managers, customer support, marketing, and inside sales teams in Japan and overseasProduct in focus: LSEG Workspace | LSEGRelationship management is handled by Account Managers, allowing you to focus on creating and closing new business opportunities with existing clients.Qualifications And Experience RequiredWholesale experience at financial Data & Analytics provider or financial institution (approximately 2 years or more)A solution-based sales approach and strong closing skillsUnderstanding of Sales & Trading business in at least one of the following areas: foreign exchange, bonds, interest rates, or equitiesBusiness-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (training, product materials, and meetings are mainly conducted in English)Sales experience in a fast-paced environment in global company is preferredWillingness to develop career in Financial X Technology industry is a plusWhat Makes This Role Exciting:You’ll be able to propose cutting-edge business trends and technologies that benefit client workflows through partnerships with diverse global clients. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Asia-Pacific region who handle the same solutions, in a truly global environment.Use case example with a major financial firm:In the Sales & Trading division, we helped shift away from commoditized rate competition and supported top-line growth through solution-based sales. Previously, market data terminals and internal customer information were siloed, making it difficult to offer client-centric solutions.
