The opportunityHitachi Energy's Grid Integration business unit has delivered more than 4,000 projects over the last 15 years. Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact.We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.How You’ll Make An ImpactYou will sell products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.You will establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures positive customer experience throughout the sales process.You will prepare sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.You will create added value proposals for the customer and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicates details in accordance with Hitachi Energy’s offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).You will ensure efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.You will identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.You will manage administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed.You will be working with main products such as HV substation solution (more than 66kV), switchgear (GIS), main transformer and MV switchgear at substation, protection, control and monitoring (IED), power quality (STATCOM).You will support in Business Segment such as offshore wind, steel industry, semiconductor, data center and renewable (PV, Battery Storage System).You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.Living Hitachi Energy’s core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundYou hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree majored in engineering (Electrical background is a Plus).Sales experience in power/T&D industry segment.Experience in renewable, Data Center, industrial and power utility market in Japan.Experience in utilizing SFDC.Products knowledge such as HV Grid substation covering GIS, transforming, MV and protection and control & Electric energy management system.Business level English / Native level JapaneseMore About UsWorking Conditions and benefits:Working hours: 900-1730 (1hr break).
