This is a permanent role with exciting opportunities for growth, we are expanding quickly!Position Summary:The Sales Training & Development / Onboarding Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive onboarding and training programs that accelerate sales team readiness, enhance performance, and ensure alignment with company goals. This role bridges the gap between new hire orientation, ongoing professional development, and sales excellence — ensuring every sales representative is equipped with the tools, skills, and knowledge to succeed.Key Responsibilities:Onboarding & TrainingDevelop, deliver, and continuously improve new hire onboarding programs for sales representatives, account executives, and sales support roles.Conduct engaging training sessions (virtual and in-person) covering sales process, CRM systems, product knowledge, and company culture.Partner with Sales Leadership and HR to ensure smooth and consistent onboarding experiences.Create onboarding materials, playbooks, checklists, and learning resources to standardize training quality.Sales Development & EnablementDesign and implement ongoing sales training programs focusing on prospecting, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing skills.Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to ensure the sales team understands product updates, value propositions, and messaging.Assess skill gaps and recommend targeted learning solutions to improve team performance.Use sales performance data and feedback to adjust training strategies and measure training effectiveness.Performance Measurement & Continuous ImprovementTrack onboarding KPIs (time-to-productivity, ramp-up time, retention, and post-training performance metrics).Maintain a repository of learning materials and ensure accessibility and consistency across regions.Gather feedback from sales managers and new hires to enhance learning programs.Stay up to date with the latest trends in sales training, learning technologies, and adult education principles.Qualifications:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or onboarding in a B2B or B2C sales environment.Proven experience designing and delivering training programs (preferably in SaaS, tech, or professional services industries).Skills & CompetenciesExcellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.Strong project management and organizational abilities.Proficient in learning management systems (LMS), CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), and e-learning tools.Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.Energetic, approachable, and skilled at motivating adult learners.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):New hire ramp-up timeSales readiness scoresPost-training sales performance improvementTraining completion and engagement ratesRetention and satisfaction rates of new hires
