Job Title: Salesforce Business Analyst (BA)Location: Remote (Canada)Position OverviewThe Salesforce Business Analyst (BA) will serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the Salesforce delivery team. This role focuses on understanding business process optimization requirements, documenting them, and ensuring successful implementation. The BA will lead efforts around sales stage redesign, approvals, field rationalization, reporting enhancements, and user adoption initiatives.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesConduct requirements workshops and interviews with client SMEs, CCM managers, and business unit leaders.Document current vs. future state processes, emphasizing impacts of stage redesign and approvals.Manage the field rationalization process — validate removal/rename lists, capture dependencies, and confirm stage entry/exit criteria.Collaborate with the Solution Architect to translate business needs into functional requirements and acceptance criteria.Prepare user stories, process maps, and configuration specifications for developers.Gather and document reporting/dashboard requirements (risk/opportunity, win-loss, financial metrics).Facilitate UAT planning and execution, including test scenarios, acceptance validation, and user feedback.Support the preparation of training materials and change management communications.Track and resolve requirement-related risks, issues, and scope changes with the Project Manager.Basic Qualifications5+ years of Business Analysis experience, with 2+ years on Salesforce projects (Sales Cloud preferred).Proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques (workshops, interviews, process mapping).2+ years of Salesforce configuration experience (objects, fields, page layouts, record types, flows).Strong ability to draft clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs.Minimum 1+ years of working knowledge of CRM sales processes (stages, approvals, reporting).Excellent communication and facilitation skills across business and technical teams.Experience supporting UAT and training/enablement sessions.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Education & CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification preferred.Nice to HavePrior experience with initiative management, PPM workflows, or retail/CPG industries.Exposure to reporting tools (Salesforce dashboards, BI integrations).
