Our engineers are vital to the innovation and digitalization of BMW Group's driving machines, production, sales and banking processes, and you could be part of our evolving teams.What awaits youAs a Salesforce Developer, you will be part of one of the two feature teams we in the hub have for the a key member of the Product Team, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment processes within our large-scale Salesforce ecosystem. You will work as part of an overarching cross-functional team, collaborating closely with other deployment engineers, Salesforce platform admin and environment managers, QA specialists, operations teams, feature development teams, and product owners.Be part of a self-managed feature team that values open communication, knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and delivering features as part of our CRM product. Design and develop customized solutions with APEX (classes and triggers), Lightning Components (Aura & LWC), Flow Builder, and API integrations (web services, outbound messages)using our MuleSoft integration layer. Configure objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, permissions, and other Salesforce platform related settings. Refine and optimize existing Salesforce implementations for performance and scalability. Maintain technical documentation to support development and operations. Ensure reliability and performance by implementing robust unit testing, and maintaining detailed logs and debugging. Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in sprints, stand-ups, and iterative development to deliver different features. What should you bring alongUniversity Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related field At least 3years of proven experience in Salesforce development with large scale projects Proficiency developing in Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components (Aura & LWC), Visualforce, and JavaScript Experience in Salesforce administration, including Salesforce lightning framework, Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud Understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships and fields Competency in REST and SOAP-based web services Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes Ability to interpret specifications and provide technical solutions in Salesforce and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to develop solutions with best practice front of mind Create and maintain technical documentation in Confluence and Jira A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements A good work ethic, ready to absorb best practice from the current teams Salesforce certifications, like Platform Developer I or II, App Builder or Administrator is mandatory.
