Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Analyst to play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and enhancing Salesforce CRM solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and preferably Financial Services Cloud (FSC). You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, translating business requirements into Salesforce-driven solutions that align with enterprise objectives and deliver measurable business value.Key Responsibilities:Requirement Elicitation & Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with Salesforce platform capabilities and business goals.Functional Solution Design: Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. Define data models, system behaviours, and process automations leveraging Salesforce best practices.Salesforce Configuration: Configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, flows, page layouts, validation rules, and automation to meet business needs without extensive custom code.Domain Expertise: Apply deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and preferably Financial Services Cloud to optimize business processes such as lead-to-cash, customer service, and partner engagement.Process Improvement: Analyse existing CRM and customer-facing processes, identifying opportunities for simplification, automation, and improved user experience.Integration & Data Management: Work with integration and data teams to ensure consistent, accurate, and synchronized data across Salesforce and external systems.Testing & Validation: Develop test scenarios, support QA and UAT activities, and validate solutions meet business and functional expectations.Documentation & Training: Prepare functional design documents (FDDs), process maps, and user training materials. Support change management and user adoption.Collaboration: Partner with Salesforce Architects, Developers, and Administrators to ensure solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with platform standards.Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, roadmap features, and industry trends. Recommend new capabilities to enhance business value.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Functional Analyst or Business Analyst with hands-on involvement in Salesforce CRM projects.Proven expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and ideally Financial Services Cloud (FSC).Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration — objects, workflows, flows, validation rules, and Lightning App Builder.Salesforce certifications such as:Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201)Salesforce Business Analyst (SBA)Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud ConsultantFinancial Services Cloud Accredited Professional (preferred)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into Salesforce functionality.Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies (user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog management).Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Visio, and Microsoft 365 for documentation and collaboration.Strong communication skills, able to interface effectively with both business users and technical teams.
