Join us on the path to simplifying access to water solutions for a broad and varied client base!Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer (Operations Support Specialist) to join our Operations Support team. This role provides essential support across the business in the areas of labouring, maintenance, and logistics. You’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of goods handling, equipment upkeep, and workplace organisation – helping to maintain efficient and safe working conditions throughout the facility. Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload wagons, including the safe operation of forklift trucks.
Inspect incoming goods and verify contents against delivery notes. Log goods receipts on the company’s system and correctly label and store items. Maintain organised storage areas to support efficient inventory management. Transport materials and equipment from stores to production as required. Monitor stock levels and assist in maintaining adequate supplies. Collect and deliver goods using company vehicles. Pack and prepare goods for despatch to customers or subcontractors. Support technicians in the Mechanical, Fabrication, and Service departments. Maintain and calibrate company tools and equipment.
Carry out general maintenance of company buildings, land, and vehicles, including minor repairs and scheduled upkeep. Perform housekeeping duties including tidying work areas, sweeping floors, and cleaning machinery. Promote and uphold the company's core values and positive workplace culture. Undertake any other reasonable tasks required to meet the needs of the business. Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong time management and a proactive, self-motivated approach. Customer- and service-focused mindset. Commercial awareness with attention to detail. Basic computer literacy for goods receipting and stock logging.
Willingness to engage in self-development and continuous improvement. Forklift truck licence (or willingness to be trained) is desirable.
