Your roleOur Fund Accounting team at Saltgate are primarily responsible for all aspects of day-to-day accounting for one or more assigned structures. Reporting to the Fund Accounting Assistant Manager or Manager you will be responsible for oversight and review of accounting outputs and you will work closely in a team with a mentor role.

Your focusProvide oversight of accounting deliverables, supporting the Assistant Manager or Manager of the teamReview of payments, bookkeeping files, trial balances, financial statements and audit or investor confirmations prepared by junior colleaguesEngage with clients and auditors and deliver to deadlines, ensuring compliance and regulatory standards are respectedEnsure payments are processed and released in line with policy and procedureIdentify exceptions and problems affecting accounting records and communicate same to management and assist in resolutionPrepare routine and ad hoc management reportsYour ExperienceHave strong academics and part qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with 2 years of relevant experienceAble to demonstrate excellent communication skills providing clear direction around delivery and able to delegate effectivelyDemonstrate a collaborate style working with others to build partnerships to meet shared objectivesBe proactive and responsiveAble to analyse complex information to effectively solve problemsHas good judgement and decision making skillsAll individuals are assigned responsibility for assisting in the overall information security and data protection environment.
