CS Safety Engineer Context Works as Customer Support field service safety engineer (Job profile : EHS Expert) focusing on safety matters for Samsung Pyeongtaek EUV site. Works closely with CS field service engineers in office and in-fab to identify safety risks and proactively manage safety matters. Key interface with EHS, CRE and other CS safety engineers. Work is governed by standardized work routines; job holder knows the way around a wide range of procedures. - Needs to analyze problems and interpret facts to get to a solution; covers a large variety of issues related to multiple processes. Thinking is associated with the interpretation of procedures to resolve problems within established frameworks; advises on safety topics based on procedures and processes. The work is not closely supervised. Works on problems of moderate scope where the analysis of situations or data require a review of a variety of factors.Requirements Experienced engineer (minimum Bachelor's degree) with working knowledge of clean-room environment or airline industry Preferably work experience with safety and knowledge of the EHS function and the products and services of the business supported and with profound knowledge of the theoretical background. At least 25% work in-fab Ability to work in a dynamic operational business environment. Customer focus (internal or external). Collaborates in a positive and efficient manner. Communicates effectively to stakeholders; stays friendly at all times; provides constructive feedback and listens carefully to any feedback given. Drives results to ensure safety improvements at own location/ factory.Responsibilities Ensures and manage all safety matters in Pyeongtaek EUV Memory site Manages safety requirements and equipment needed to operate effectively in-fab Creates, improves and leads safety culture and drive field service engineers to operate safely Manages and reports safety KPIs Manages and performs PtW, Safety PM and FCOs, among others Shares WW safety cases and knowledge in collaboration with EHS Drives results to ensure safety improvements at own location/ factoryThis position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R.730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
