The Role: To assist Artisans in effective maintenance and breakdowns. This service is rendered to Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology clients. Key Performance Areas:

Assist artisan with any service/breakdown related activityVisual inspection of machinesClean workshop, machine, tools and equipmentFollow workshop mapCheck wrapping & hosesRelay messages between operationsProvide feedback to artisan on machine conditionComply with SMRT SHEQ management system and the Objectives and Targets set. Utilise correct toolsReport Hazardous conditions and acts. Participate in Incident / accident investigations. Technical readingsWork on scheduled and unplanned maintenance and breakdownsYour Profile:

Grade 12 / N3 Technical Qualification/ Equivalent QualificationComputer literacy ability to work with Excel spreadsheets, graphical presentations and chartsEnglish proficiencyFirst Aid Level 1 (Advantageous)Experience in manufacturing workshopRelevant mechanised mining equipment experiencePhysical & Medical ability to function in an workshop / underground environmentUnderstanding of the necessity and value of teamwork; ability to work effectively as part of a teamHow To ApplyPlease apply online through Workday (ESS) or access the Sandvik website www. home. sandvik/en/careersApplications close:
