We seek a Communication Manager who thrives on creating powerful, human stories that connect people to purpose and business impact. In this role, you will drive integrated storytelling across both external and internal platforms, harnessing digital channels and social media to amplify our impact.

You will bring Santen’s strategy and vision to life, engaging employees as our greatest ambassadors while also shaping how we show up in the world. This role reports to the Associate Director of Communications, EMEA, and is based in Switzerland. You will work as part of a small but ambitious team, where your ideas and creativity will be valued. You will play a key role in building strong foundations for our communications while influencing long-term strategy and driving engagement with our Medium-Term Management Plan (MTP2029).

Key activities & AccountabilitiesDevelop and deliver integrated communication plans that tell Santen’s story in a way that inspires, informs, and engages both internal and external audiencesCreate compelling, people-centered content for our social media channels, corporate website, and employee platforms, working closely with colleagues across EMEA and our global corporate communications team in JapanLead initiatives that build Santen’s brand, reputation, and credibility as a leader in eye healthDrive employee engagement by activating our strategy and purpose, ensuring our people are informed, inspired, and empowered to act as ambassadors for SantenSupport the migration of our corporate website, ensuring it reflects our bold ambitions and provides an excellent user experienceUse data and insights to measure the impact of communications to drive business results, continuously improving how we connect with our audiencesCollaborate with agency partners and internal teams to deliver high-quality content and campaigns that drive business objectives and enhance Santen’s corporate valueQualificationsDegree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related fieldSignificant experience (typically 5+ years) in communications, ideally in an international environment, and with experience in the healthcare industryProven expertise in digital content creation, social media, and integrated storytellingStrong writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging messagesExperience managing websites, content management systems, and supporting digital transformation projectsProven ability to work effectively in an international, multicultural environmentStrategic thinker with strong project management skills and high attention to detailCollaborative team player who brings initiative and a results-focused mindsetFluency in English is a must, and knowledge of multiple languages is a plus, particularly languages relevant to the EMEA regionAdditional InformationGrow your career at SantenA career at Santen is an opportunity to make a difference.
