SAP Basis / Netweaver/ Solman / Security Consultant

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a knowledgeable and hands-on SAP Basis/NetWeaver/Solution Manager/Security Consultant to join our SAP technical team.This multifaceted role involves managing the SAP landscape, ensuring optimal performance and availability, supporting SAP Solution Manager, and maintaining robust SAP security and compliance.You will work closely with functional consultants, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality SAP services.This position requires a deep understanding of SAP Basis administration, technical architecture, Solution Manager configuration, and SAP security best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP Basis & NetWeaver Administration:Perform day-to-day administration of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, GRC, Fiori, etc.)Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot SAP systems and databases (HANA, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.)Manage SAP transports, performance tuning, background jobs, and system monitoringPerform kernel upgrades, OSS note implementation, and system copies/refreshesEnsure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of SAP systemsMonitor and maintain system health using tools like SAP Solution Manager, CCMS, and SAP EarlyWatchSAP Solution Manager (SolMan)Configure and manage SolMan functionalities such as System Monitoring, ChaRM, ITSM, EWA, and Technical MonitoringSupport integration of Solution Manager with managed systemsMaintain LMDB, SLD, and Landscape Management within SolManAssist in setup of Solution Documentation and test management toolsAct as a key resource for SAP operations support through SolMan featuresSAP SecurityAdminister and design SAP security roles, authorizations, and profiles across SAP landscapesExecute user administration tasks and ensure proper access provisioning and de-provisioningConduct risk analysis, SoD checks, and support compliance auditsUtilize SAP GRC (if available) for access control and emergency access managementInvestigate and resolve authorization-related issues across systemsCross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with SAP functional teams and project managers on system changes and deploymentsProvide technical support during go-lives, upgrades, and migrationsParticipate in system landscape planning and architecture discussionsDocument procedures, best practices, and system configurationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field5+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience including NetWeaver stack componentsExperience with SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and its core functionalitiesSolid understanding of SAP security principles and user access controlsExperience with SAP HANA administration and performance optimizationFamiliarity with OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and database administration relevant to SAPStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP cloud services is a plusKnowledge of SAP GRC, IDM, and integration scenarios is advantageousSAP certifications in Basis, Security, or HANA are preferredSoft SkillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentCustomer-focused mindset with attention to detailProactive approach to system reliability and performanceAt DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
