Senior SAP BI EngineerLocation: Türkiye (100% Remote)Experience Level: Senior / Tech Lead / ArchitectAbout the RoleWe’re seeking an experienced Senior SAP BI Engineer to design, build, and enhance enterprise-level business intelligence solutions. The role involves leading BI development initiatives, optimizing data flows, and ensuring reliable, high-performance reporting across SAP environments.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and enhance SAP BW, HANA, and BO applications and data models.Design and implement ETL processes, dataflows, and reporting solutions.Develop ABAP/AMDP programs and optimize data load and query performance.Configure and extend Business Content Extractors and data models.Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot system issues, and apply SAP Notes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable BI solutions.Mentor team members and share expertise through workshops or code reviews.Required Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in BI / Data Warehousing with hands-on SAP expertise.Advanced proficiency with:SAP BW on HANA / BW4HANASAP BO, Analysis for Office, HANA ModellingSAP Data Services / Data Intelligence CloudStrong ABAP (AMDP, user exits, routines) and SQL skills.Knowledge of data modelling, performance tuning, and hybrid (non-SAP) integration.Understanding of authorization concepts; exposure to SAC (Planning) or Datasphere is a plus.Proven ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and thrive in agile teams.Fluent English is essential.Nice to HaveSAP BW certification.Experience leading BI design or architecture initiatives.
