🚀 SAP FICO CONSULTANT – BANKING SECTOR | REMOTE | FREELANCE UP TO €300/DAY 🚀Location: Remote Contract: 6–12 months, FreelanceStart Date: November 2025Day Rate: Up to €300/dayAbout the Role: Our banking client is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join their team on a 6–12 month freelance contract. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic financial environment, supporting key SAP Finance and Controlling processes and contributing to ongoing system improvements and projects.You’ll collaborate closely with both business and technical teams, ensuring the SAP FICO module is optimised to meet operational and regulatory requirements specific to the banking industry.Key Responsibilities: Provide functional expertise in SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) within a banking environment.Support system configuration, enhancements, and maintenance aligned with business needs.Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of new SAP functionalities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules.Analyse and resolve incidents, ensuring timely and accurate issue resolution.Deliver documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance systems landscape.Requirements: 5+ years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.Strong understanding of FI and CO processes and their integration points with other SAP modules.Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.Language Skills: Portuguese and English – minimum B2 level (both written and spoken), with good fluency.Location: Must be based in Portugal (Lisbon preferred) Please contact info@optimistech.co to learn more about this amazing opportunity!
